In addition to our market rate residences at Trove Southtown, a portion of our residences in this community have been reserved for the LIHTC program. Our tax credit apartment community offers high-quality, affordable housing through a program that helps individuals and families find homes at lower rental rates. This community is part of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, designed to support residents who meet specific income requirements based on the area's median income (AMI).

Any applicant or resident living in an affordable unit cannot earn more than the following annual incomes.

50%

  • 1-person home may earn no more than $33,850 annually

  • 2-person home may earn no more than $38,650 annually

  • 3-person home may earn no more than $43,500 annually

  • 4-person home may earn no more than $48,300 annually

  • 5-person home may earn no more than $52,200 annually

  • 6-person home may earn no more than $56,050 annually

80%

  • 1-person home may earn no more than $54,160 annually

  • 2-person home may earn no more than $61,840 annually

  • 3-person home may earn no more than $69,600 annually

  • 4-person home may earn no more than $77,280 annually

  • 5-person home may earn no more than $83,520 annually

  • 6-person home may earn no more than $89,680 annually

We will qualify you based on GROSS annual income. Please call for additional details on acceptable proof of income.

INCOME VERIFICATION

  • 2 months of consecutive current bank statements. ALL pages must be included and be one sided.

  • 2 months of consecutive paystubs.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PRE-QUALIFY?

To begin the application, please present the following documents:

  1. Complete application for every household member 18 years of age and older

  2. Income Verification Items

  3. Additional documents that may be required depending on each person’s individual income and assets

  4. 2 years of Resident or Rental Verification if applicable

Trove Southown participates in the Housing Choice Program and HOME tenant based rental assistance program, or other federal, state or local government rental assistance programs are welcome to apply.
